SYNOPSIS

Ella is 11 years old and lives with her father. Ella's mother has been missing for several years. One day, Ella receives a package containing a robotic arm that gives her superpowers, which changes everything.

Challenges & Approach

We had three months to develop this show from initial concept to finished product. It was a challenging yet incredibly rewarding project, allowing a smaller team to create a vibrant sci-fi series for kids. The show features an emotionally engaging story and seamlessly integrates both practical and digital special effects, showcasing creativity and teamwork in a limited timeframe.

The result

Robotella consists of a six-episode story arc, each episode designed to engage young viewers with exciting adventures and intriguing cliffhangers that encourage continued viewing. Created specifically for children aged 7 to 10, the series combines elements of fun, imagination, and learning to capture the attention of young audiences. The narrative is crafted to be both entertaining and age-appropriate, featuring relatable characters and themes of friendship, curiosity, and problem-solving. The suspenseful cliffhangers at the end of each episode serve to build anticipation and keep kids eager to tune in for the next installment, making Robotella a captivating and memorable series for young viewers.
