SYNOPSIS

A series that explores the lives of Swedish teens, along with their friends and family, as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up and facing life's challenges.

Challenges & Approach

This newly developed series was created collaboratively with and for Swedish junior high school students. Each episode focuses on a different character, exploring diverse perspectives and themes relevant to youth. Due to a condensed pre-production schedule, it presented a significant challenge in establishing the show's format and workflow within a limited timeframe. As a producer, I prioritized casting and story development to ensure authenticity and emotional impact, given our smaller team and the constraints on technical resources. The project ultimately emphasized strong storytelling and character-driven narratives, leveraging the unique insights of young talent to create an engaging series.

The result

This is a newly conceived series with the potential for a longer run, thanks to its distinctive format and style. The series centers around a diverse group of strong characters, each facing their own unique challenges. Designed to be fast-paced, the show balances both serious and lighthearted themes, with a clear emphasis on educational content. Its engaging structure aims to resonate with viewers while providing meaningful insights and entertainment.
