SYNOPSIS

Challenges & Approach
My role included serving as Second Unit Director for Seasons 1 and 2 of Young Royals, where I was responsible for directing supplementary scenes and secondary footage. I also served as First Assistant Director during the first season, overseeing daily operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the efficient execution of the production.
The result
Young Royals experienced significant success, both critically and commercially. The series received widespread acclaim for its engaging storytelling, strong performances, and authentic depiction of youth and relationships. It quickly gained a dedicated fanbase and achieved high viewership numbers globally, contributing to increased visibility for Swedish television on the international stage. The show's positive reception led to its renewal for additional seasons, solidifying its status as a successful and influential series in the youth genre.
